I'm kinda glad they aren't giving single treatment to Hello Bitches.
Already sounds like something radio won't touch going off the title, though it is getting a dance video apparently.
Right? Y'all have some nerve trashing Kendrick's last album when a good chunk of you were ******** yourselves over the latest projects of Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding.
This weird thing where pop music fans act as if actually acclaimed music is crap but then use metacritic scores for an album that 5 people reviewed to prove a pop album is "art" is so awful and needs to end.
Yeah, it's good, although quite stale for me now. I've decided Carly's KISS is better.
I think that it will age decently.. This Love, How You Get The Girl, Welcome To Hell and Bad Blood have aged poorly already but the other songs still have a lot of replay value.
I think if Taylor came back in 8 months she'd underperform just off the fact she had such a huge era months prior + Adele is a factor now. It's like when Black Eyed Peas tried to do that album like 6 months after The E.N.D.
She should release 1-2 more singles, extend the record-breaking tour, then come back in 2017. I know that breaks her 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 pattern, but hey, everybody thought she would bomb doing a Pop album and breaking the Country cycle, and look what happen.

Exactly. I just said this.
And Pimp >>>> mAAD >>>>>>>>>>> Section 80
Kendrick has progressed as a musician and lyricist.
Ew, Demon's album is probably the worst of 2015. She should win an award for booking all of these big named producers on her albums, yet REFUSING to make a single song above subpar.
It's just so disappointing after GKMC. TPAB catching all of this acclaim because of the profound message of the record but the songs themselves just aren't as good. I used For Free?, These Walls, King Kunta, Alright, and a few others for like 2 weeks before disposing of it. I still listen to most of GKCM every now and then. The power of good songs, they never fade away.
I mean I love both his albums equally. I even love Section 80 . To me both have great lyrics and catchy songs. 1989 certainly isn't bad but I definitely think TPAB is worthy of acclaim if 1989 is.

I don't think acclaimed music is crap. There is plenty of **** music that is acclaimed, though.
Like FKA Twigs' latest EP. That turd has an 89 on metacritic.

She already said she's going to take a somewhat long break after she's done with the 1989 era.
Carly Rae Jepsen's music is awful. So is 1989. I haven't been fully impressed by a pop album since Queen Of The Clouds. None of that virginal Avril-lite pop crap
