I get your point, but any positive message he has is going to be overlooked by who he is, what he's done to these women, and all the legal issues coming his way.
Caitlyn wasn't known to be a reckless asshole (except on the highway) and she didn't harm anyone in the process (again, except for the highway), so people were a bit more willing to listen to her and the message.
