Well for better or for worse, I didn't see much (or any?) of the press about Aloha or Southpaw being about her.
At least she already had Midnight in Paris and A Most Wanted Man this decade for relatively acclaimed films.
She doesn't necessarily need it but it's still sad she had so many promising projects turning out bad this year. Every Thing Will Be Fine will be fine was horrid too, while at least visually stunning. Then of course True Decline's second season, even though she was the best part about it.
I'm not so sure. Todd VanderGOD on Vox said that those cheesy, on-the-nose, baity moments are almost non-existent in it bar a really srong Mark Ruffalo climax. This year's race is so crowded though, love it.
