Since I'm addicted to NY and cold weather, I'd have pretty much the opposite reactions to all these.
I probably wouldn't even mind shoveling snow off the driveway. Hell, I'd maybe even volunteer.

dd accurate except that was me waiting for the bus in the snow. also add my feet and ears getting so cold they felt like they were gonna fall off and the feeling of sitting your cold butt on a cold bus seat because it hadn't warmed up yet
