FSLS was insanely influential in the pop world. Sorry but Bruno doesn't even come close. There is more to it than numbers (even tho FSLS did better than Bruno's album).
I agree that he hasn't really evolved since then and that the 2013 albums were really lame and boring.
Agreed Emoshit is completely boring and repetitive trash. If she gets a Grammy the Grammy association is bunk. The same if Taylor wins a Grammy (I still enjoy her music but her winning over TPAB? Chile please)

Who even acknowledges FSLS as a game changer, though? Most people think The Fame started the "dance-pop movement," which wasn't a substantial/memorable sub-genre outside of a couple of years. On the R&B side of things, it has no influence on what Miguel, The Weeknd or the other R&B cats are doing. Insanely influential? Where?

It was enjoyable at first, for like 10 listens but now it sounds a mess..
Run Away With Grammys is still one of the best songs of the year though.
Usher is more successful than solo Justin but overall Justin is the biggest star, has the bigger career (you can't just not count NSYNC at all), and will be all around remembered more.
Bruno is not even the Prince of Pop, let alone King of Pop He's a non factor, he's basic and forgettable. Even Justine Bieber is more memorable than him.

for 2 years following it, half the big hits sounded like songs on that album. I can list them if you want (and it has more to do with timbos production than anything) but I don't see how you can say it wasn't influential.
He has the hits, the album sales, the touring, the acclaim, literally everything. He's an Adele-lite. In the vein that ATRL would think he's a non-factor because he's not a tabloid-hoe like their faves yet can comeback and effortlessly outsell them and get more attention from the public.
Just the Way You Are will be a bigger classic than any JT song, and so will Uptown Funk.
He'll have more GRAMMYs, he's already headlined the SuperBowl as a lead artis, more everything. All ages love Bruno too. He has major respect.
