The people in Raqqa are most likely brainwashed into ISIS ideology by now anyway. They send kids from there to Turkey to be suicide bombers. They're living under a ruthless dictatorship.
I don't understand everyone freaking out and worried about WW3! These bombings have been going on for ages, and it's not just France that have been bombing IS either...
Not to sound uneducated on the subject but how easy would it be for a country to simply retaliate with the same method and hit any of the western countries from the air?

You think living under a ruthless dictatorship convinces you to accept it and become a part of it? Because they have a wide variety of choices and options correct?
We'll see how effective air strikes are. You and I both know that NATO nations are certainly considering it. It's just a shame that you don't have the organization or the UN use forces rather than an alliance of a few nations.
Nothing will "end terrorism." You can't end an ideology.
But you CAN crush an organization which is what is currently happening, thank goodness.
I don't disagree. That is my point, as well. The user talking to me was talking about the bombs being a solution. They aren't. Because like you said, violence is not the solution to stop terrorist attacks because it's not possible to stop them. But it will contain ISIS.

I don't think they materially can. I'm pretty sure they're not equipped to do something like this (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though).
