Guys I recently downloaded Utadas discography bc I'm trying to get into J-Pop/Utada in general. So far Sakura Drops has slain me, along with the obvious Passion and Hikari

You should they're really good! I'm trying to get into the hip-hop scene a bit more so I might download Rip Slyme later.
Yass any recommendations sis? Like her standout tracks?
It's better to listen to entire albums (Deep River and Heart Station go well with newbies), but try Can You Keep a Secret, Flavor of Love, Colors, Sakura Nagashi, Show Me Love (Not a Dream) to get the idea of incoming slayage.
Perfume are such a conflicting act. Good musical ideas, but either not enough singing or TOO MUCH studio/songwriting ****ery on Nakata's part. I did not sign up to listen to industrial-grade pop Nakata.
They're very much a visual/performance emphasis group because their dances/vids/concerts are on POINT regardless of how awful the songs get sometimes
