2013 was the last year she made a serious attempt to get a hit and it resulted in:
1) Applause, a 15-week top ten that is 3x platinum certified.
2) Do What U Want, a song that nearly peaked in the top ten and went platinum without a music video.
This "she can't get pop hits anymore" claim because of G.A.Y. is nonsense. Her charity single went Top 20 on iTunes without any promo other than a PSA video. Y'all will be checking for LG5's lead single.
I will be! I hope it's good, esp since she's working with Redone again
Grimes' album has interesting instrumentals I guess, but I don't get how she is special and how she stands out among the crowd of female indie singers. It was hard to finish some of the tracks
Scream is so horrid, was she on acid?
Still better than Revival, though!

She produced + wrote the whole album (poor Taylord) + direct her own MVs.
Scream is a grower, I HATED it at first but I love the beat now.
People hating on this just because it's Demi.
Hate the whale all you want, you have to be absolutely delusional to not say that this cover is absolutely fantastic. She did it so much justice. Granted, it isn't too hard of a song to sing.
Seems like its bothering you just a tad, but ok luv
Nah luv, being bothered would be like you being in every gaga thread, giving your "opinions"
This ain't it and I'm sure you've got way more worrying to do than to worry about me so hihi

Is Grimes her nu album listenable? I don't want to hype myself and end up listening to electronic farts.

I never got the 'she produces and writes by herself!!!' part as essential to get acclaim. So what, it still doesn't sound very good? For a better album produced by the artists themselves I suggest Waxahatchee's Ivy Tripp.
