Omg girl you're in for a treat. I binged through it all last fall.
The ending is very divisive. I too went into it having heard the ending would either blow me away or leave me fuming but when my mom and I finished it we were both just kinda like "Oh. That was it?". No idea what the fuss was about.
The rest of the series is great though.
