The most high-profile debut of the weekend was the one on just ten screens. Universal/Comcast CMCSA -1.67% Corp. offered By the Sea in ten theaters. And despite the star power of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the overly arty and indifferently reviewed character study didn’t break out. Now to be absolutely fair, a movie like this was never going to be anything resembling a hit absent great reviews and Oscar buzz. This homage to the 1960′s/1970′s European “New Wave” dramas, written and directed by Jolie, is the very definition of the kind of movie no one goes to see in this day and age, especially when even arthouse crowds have the likes of Spotlight and Brooklyn to choose from. The $10 million picture earned $38,000 on its first day, setting the stage for a $132k weekend and mediocre $13,240 per-screen-average.
So if a peaked show in it's fifth year with falling ratings still manages to top a night weekly, maybe there's a problem with a whole television and not just AHS? AHS' repeat numbers are doing better than other FX original shows. It's still a huge hit for the network.
Oh, and FX takes into a consideration streaming numbers (they are planning to stop reporting live numbers, only L+3) and they just said that Hotel pulls better ratings than every other season

The fact that we are probably getting a duets album from GaGa instead of a pop album.
But we're still getting the album next year. Ryan said that Gagz will be busy next year with a new album and a new tour but he is still sure that Gagz will find a time for season 6
