Touring is what determines star power. People are paying +$50 to come see you for 2 hours, and Ariana definitely wins in that department, and she's just started while Selena has been touring since 2010.

Ariana sold out MSG back to back. She had 100% attendance at almost all the shows. The way her meet&greets and tickects were selling was crazy.

she only did big stadiums during SD era and sadly she had to cut it off due to personal problems

Revival prices are very high but still its doing great so lets wait before it ends before commenting about their touring power

The Selena fans seem to love bringing up Kiss & Tell and AYWR's sales claiming they've sold more in the US than Ariana's albums.
Question: Does that mean that Selena was bigger 5 years ago than she is today? Because Kiss & Tell has sold more than Stars Dance & Revival combined.

At the end of the day Ariana is bigger but that does not diminish Selena's success. Selena is doing very well and will continue to improve in the coming years.

This is not them days because Ariana is still more successful than Selena.

I'll just sit and wait to see if Selena ever crosses 100k in pure album sales on a debut week, get nominated for grammys, have a higher metacritic score than any of Ariana's albums, be praised by legends, outpeak GFY, sell 18 mil records within one era, and become a global artist.

I could go on forever. The only thing Ariana can fight with is the singles department and she's not doing really that well on that department either so lets not. Selena is the bigger star, the more succesful musician, and will become even more famous as time goes on.
