I am actually thinking the same, I know in London there are cameras everywhere and I imagine Paris must be the same. It's really baffling, they're going to strategic places in the city.

Because everything is scarier/more confusing at night. Also, I'm sure it wasn't just coincidence that this happened during a big soccer match. Just think, the police have to waste resources making sure 80,000 people in the stadium get out safely now when they could be elsewhere stopping new attacks as they pop up.
