I'm that desperate that I called my local FYE as the manager loves me because I've been coming there since I was little for CD releases. He told me that the album is registered in their system for future sale release, but the release date is still listed as "pending".

Nah. He often posts what real officials are sending him, and they may get it wrong too. I've never seen him trying to pass guesses as facts.
