1D's album was put up for pre-orders a while ago, though. Their preorders should be more spread over time than Bieber's, hence their weak sales right now. That could be an excuse, but honestly, I see much more hype around Justin + to be fair, his music is miles better. If it wasn't for ATRL I wouldn't even know 1D have an album out tomorrow.

Yeah but the first spins have the biggest effect as the most listeners don't know the song yet. When a song is at 30k pretty much everyone knows the song already.
