Did someone seriously just discredit a #1 placing in favor of spotify streams?

Welcoming Beyoncé to the stage after your childish tribute performance, and expecting people to remember you were just on stage, is a bit risky.

And there is nothing risky about a Lolita image. Like...what even?

Maybe not when certain girls are rehashing it in 2015, but it was actually a big deal in 1999. Look up a Rolling Stones from that year and educate yourself, Kid.

Calm down. You're clearly upset and lying but I know you're better than this. There is no need for this meltdown sis.

You have legends for the 60s, the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, and there will be legends for the new century aka the millenial one (2000-2009). And in 20 years, when people are going to look back to it, both Bey and Britney will be the names that are going to be most associated with this era.

I'm sure Beyonce will reach that legend status sometime soon.

Why are you all trying to convince yourselves that Britney is a legend. She's a disgrace to pop music and entertainment in general

Who cares? Both are massive and have one of the largest dedicated fan bases in the world.

Work It Out came out before 03 Bonnie & Clyde so how did she run back to Jay for another hit
Well her career in around 2008 so anything that happened after that wouldnt hurt her in any type of way

You often defend Bey in threads that come for her, crediting her for countless things, unless it's a Bey vs. Britney thread, then you pull things out of your ass like this.

That's what YOU think and it's okay to be wrong. People used to think the world was flat but they were wrong just like you are.

Well people associate the late 90s with the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and TLC. That doesn't make them legends.
Legends are timeless

Bey is already a legend in my opinion, I think Self Titled solidified that. I mean she's lasted 20 years in this industry which is a very hard feat, she's sold over 200m records throughout her career, grossed over 1 billion in film, has grossed almost 600m in touring, has won 20 Grammy's, is highly acclaimed and is often regarded as the greatest living performer. She's had the iconic hits - Crazy In Love, Single Ladies, Halo & Irreplaceable & she's also one of the most influential artists around. Her legacy is undeniable anyone who denies it is just bitter.
Britney on the other hand is arguable imo. I feel like the breakdown and her really whack music this decade has tarnished her legacy, also she hasn't been very consistent throughout her career because she's declined every era since she debut.

Sis, anyone that knew who Beyonce was before 2013 would know this. And trust me, I am getting my kiis from watching a bunch of Beyonce stans try so hard

Yet you'll praise an artist that spent her career rehashing Jennifer Lopez and any other hit trend she could find to try and be popular

Now that we all know Britney is a legend, you all are saying it doesn't matter.
