Britney was done and stamped by 30. Beyonce has continued into her 30's with multi-platinum albums, all-time grossing tours, highlight acclaim, GRAMMYs, and peak starpower.

Only so much longer the Army can keep holding onto "she did this in 2001 tho!" to combat 2015+ receipts.

I don't think Britney deserves to be called a legend. Especially now. For what? She's not an exceptional singer, She's an ok dancer & she's never produced a critically acclaimed album.

She did, however, have an amazing career with one of the biggest peaks in music history + her classic songs are a part of pop culture. She also had a huge impact on all the pop girls that came after her. She's definitely an icon.

Beyoncé is known for her talent & consistency. Her performance skills are vastly praised & she's managed to maintain excellence throughout her work. For that she WILL be a legend.

Britney got two #1s in her 30s. Bey has only gotten two #1s in the U.S. that she didn't have payola for. Check your shade, hen.

And the "peak starpower." Beyonce can't even top fads like Kim Kardashian on search engines and media presence. Britney was able to be the most searched till 2009, when MJ died

All these multi-platinum albums, and Grammy awards and yet she still has yet to surpass Britney in total album sales, she lacks the amount of iconic moments that Britney has achieved, has never experienced such a gigantic peak and lacks the impact.
