I disagree with your second statement. Beyoncé gets more views for her past performances and more recurrent everything for her past music than Brit does. How can you explain that?
Bey is currently bigger and has released many, many more music videos and singles. She also promotes and remixes her older work (see: "Crazy In Love," especially). It would be a disaster if she had less recurrent streams than an artist that's taken to televised stages only 5 or 6 times this decade.

DIL sold 7-8 Million. DIL is NOT even close of 10M copies.
Huge difference in terms of success and relevance.
