1D is soooooo irrelevant outside of their fan base, it hurts. It's amazing how they managed to have as much success as they do with such a non-existent presence amongst the general public.
Despite her abysmal album sales and failure to score another smash off of DemoLovatum, Ellie is actually rising above her usual C-list status in the U.S. Not once have I ever heard anyone bring her up in conversation before this year, and now she's something of a hot topic. Poor 1Dead.
