I think Hello will hang around for a while. I see no reason for Adele to try and release another song until well after Christmas. Hello could potentially wind up in the 250 million range on AI, so I think that's a long way from almost peaking.

Edit: I also think Hello might be strong enough to hold off challenges from Christmas songs once it tops AC. Hello is perfect for that format, so it's hard for me to imagine AC not continuing to play Hello through Christmas when there's so much demand for the song.

From Wikipedia:

Since 2015, WPLJ re-added 1980s and 1990s songs to its playlist, due to increased competition. However, since most Hot AC stations no longer play 80s music (which is primarily heard on adult contemporary stations), Mediabase moved the station to its AC panel, despite the station following more of a standard Hot AC playlist. The station has also added a few hip-hop songs.

So it's kind of a hybrid AC/HAC/Rhythmic station. Interesting.

I think Hello will reach the Smooth Jazz Singles Chart too. Smooth Jazz is a small format, and it's not all that easy to find that format's survey on All Access, but that'll be another format Hello should cross over to.
