When told about this, Trump replied that he "has very passionate supporters".

#1 Hitler enforced the systematic execution of millions of people. Trump has never done so. Id love for you to provide me with a statement he has made promoting violent act. Stop making up lies to further your argument which, at this point, is pretty much over.
#2 I don't know if you will understand this, but an action committed by someone is an action on their own behalf. If someone decides to murder another person, and they had the intent to do so, they are solely responsible for their action. Trump promoted NO violence towards any group of people and therefore whatever mental issues the 'supporters' who committed the crimes had, is on themselves.
#3 The statistics show that a portion of illegal mexican immigrants have been charged with rape, drug smuggling, and murders. He said in that same first speech that there are fantastic illegal immigrants who need to just do the paperwork to come here legally. He made a factual statement about a portion of a group of law-breakers, but of course the world loves to act offended.
PS: the "i have extended family who escaped the holocaust" is a "i have a black friend" tea. To me, who was exposed to survivors every day growing up, and hearing the stories of how brothers and sisters were murdered in front of them, i take offense to this comparison.
