She allowed Beyonce to easily takeover commercialized r&b

A Brooklyn/Room/Carol/45 Years/Joy could be an amazingly well-reviewed lineup, given how the vast majority of Actress winners this century were in sub-80 films.
2004 had 5 contenders, but Annette Bening playing an actress beat out Uma Thurman in an action sequel.
2012 and 2007 each had 3, but for the latter Keira was possibly edged out by Elizabeth the Golden Age with its 45 Metascore.
On the flip side: 2003/2008 each had one contender with great reviews, but she was snubbed. 2005/2011 had zero.

Right now people are thinking that IF one of the actresses with great reviews is edged out, it will be by Carey Mulligan who's in a movie with a 67 but is about the Important Issue of women's suffrage.
Oh, or possibly Joy ends up with not-quite-great reviews...
