I've only listened to it once so far, currently listening to it a second time, you'll have to give me some time. This is the first I've ever heard by anything named Grimes before. I know California is just gorgeous and one of the best songs ever though.
Ah. Don't go into her past albums expecting stuff like this, though; the rest are completely different. Her last album, Visions, and then this one, are my faves though. Visions is extremely dark & a lot more weirder & alternative; she made it while on a ton of drugs while isolated in her house in almost total darkness for three weeks
Oh, and California samples Pon de Replay! But it's not my fave. Pin, REALiTi & Kill V Maim are my top 3.
