Goddammit Ellie. Those Target songs are possible two of the best songs of the entire album. A lot of the songs on the album are forgettable because they have no 'hook' or good melody. There are of course exceptions (Lost And Found, Scream It Out, LMLYD and perhaps a few more) but those songs do not make up for the mediocrity of the album.
Perhaps the other songs will grow on me, but that is not really how a full on pop album should be like.
I bought the deluxe edition. 27 euros but 22 songs.
The bonus tracks >>> the standard ones (some are complete filler, she needs to stop repeating the same three words 50 times in one chorus.)

Heal sounds very Ellie. I think if she put out an album with a balance of songs that sounded like Heal/Army/DNN/KOP i would fall in love instantly. rn though Halcyon>Lights>Delirium
