I gave the Halloween remake a chance a few days ago and JESUS it's not even just a bad movie, it's so offensive to me as a huge fan of the series and it pays absolutely no respect to the original.
I'm not so much against remakes, I think there are remakes that are better than the original, but no one needs to touch and established and iconic classic.

Have you see the producers cut of #6? Its better than the theatrical version tbh.

I HATE too many fantasy elements in horror movies but I loved how the director made fun of the horror genre and society. Fantastic movie!

The Halloween remake was unnecessary and trashy. Remakes get a mostly bad rep but there are a few that are actually really good. Miss Zombie, however, should have kept that script to himself

It was much like the others to me. I think if you enjoyed them you would probably enjoy this one - didn't add anything to the series though apart from rounding things up.
