I always figured that "Wasted Hours" would be the first song from The Suburbs to fall. It's a slow, meditative song that is extended by a minute on the deluxe (as if anyone wanted it to be longer) Lyrically, it;s pretty self-explanatory: it's about wasting time when you're young before you have to worry about jobs and families. It's a very ATRL'd song, no? Best bit: la la la la, la la la laaaaaaaaa Best lyrics: "Wishing you were anywhere but here / You watched the life you're living disappear"
