I thought for so long 1D had this on lock but Justin's singles have performed much better than 1D's, Justin is everywhere whereas 1D have done relatively little promo and the Purpose pre-order is higher on iTunes than Made in the AM. It'll be a close race.

He's holding up better on Itunes at the moment. So this could go either way, he could come out on top on both fronts (Sales+SPS). I guess we have to wait and see what happens within the next couple of days.

Even if he does miss out this #1, he still has 5#1s to his name, and it wouldn't be by a large margin. Most people were expecting One Direction to demolish him with first week album sales. He continues to prove his doubters wrong and for that I couldn't be anymore proud of him.

It's surprising though how he is currently leading in album sales despite One Direction fans running up and down this thread and many others quoting ''album sellers''. They severely underestimated him.

It hasn't even officially leaked lmao. just LQ recordings. It's been around the top 10 since it was put up for preorder aside from around halloween cuz of all the halloween albums

They are though They've sold more albums worldwide than Bieber has despite not selling a ton of singles.

Y'all are forgetting 1D's album was up for pre-order 2-3 weeks before Bieber's was and they had nearly a 100k lead on him after Bieber's first weekend of preorders
