I just don't what they are trying to achieve.
They are hiding behind adele.
Between 2000 and 2015 the "major" female artists released at least 1 and at most 7 albums and couldn't do it.
Even with generic tunes and/or reductive madonna wannabe songs with a 99c discount.
The Army loves Adele and Adele is apart of the Army.
If there is anyone that would break the record and the Army would be fine with it: Adele shall take the claim.
She hasn't even taken it yet, though?
Also, this accolade is not even Britney's #1 accolade or #2 accolade. It is her #3 accolade for now.
People need to stop hiding behind Adele and realize that none of their faves were/are capable despite:
-"talent" since people claim Britney doesn't have that
-"better music" since people claim their faves "songwritten" music is superior
-gimmicks (99c deals, surprise releases, water downed sound)
-etc.
None of their faves have an excuse if Adele can pull it off with simplicity.
Love is a state of grace...don't hide behind Adele which only confirms that your fave can climb up the wall with gimmicks and stunts and still not match Britney's record or the potential Adele has just releasing a good song and video.
Poor their faves.
