I think Britney and Madonna are kind of equal when it comes to star power. They're both universally recognisable, not just by their faces but by their music and singing voices. I feel like Britney has the upper hand when it comes to the current generation, like if you played BOMT for someone that was 12 they would probably tell you pretty much straight away that it's Britney, but if you played Like a Virgin or Like a Prayer they might not know who the artist is.
