How is being black a hinderance?

Black people are only 13% of the American population yet are a HUGE part of the mainstream musical scene in America. If anything being black has helped her immensely, as it also gets her music played on way more radio formats.
And how is no physical release an issue when we all know the reason for those huge initial sales was the surprise digital release,
including the fact that every track was album-only. She has been debuting, as part of DC and solo, with physical releases since 1998 and has never approached 1m. That's not the reason at all. The reason is she's simply never been that big of an artist.
