the problem is this Madonna now sounds like a parody of Madonna.
Her music has been subpar. Her concerts now look the same.
She needs to release a great album and she'll be fine.
Madonna's problem isn't ageism, but attention-whoring.
Because no one wants to pay attention to her antics anymore, she feels slighted.
Tina Turner came out with Private Dancer at 45 and was warmly received.
Settle down. It was the 80's. In the 80's, you could be ugly, black, and old and still have a hit song like Tina Turner.
It was a weird time. Literally anyone could have a hit on the radio in the 80's and early 90's.
For example.
Talentless, no star power, ugly, and yet was an absolute hit. JJ Fad even makes Nicki Minaj look
talented by comparison. @2:06 "It's finally my turn *throws hands in the air* to rock the mic."
Jesus H. Christ. Kill her. So glad I wasn't alive in the 80's.
In any case, Madonna won in the 80's. Madonna won in the 90's.
Madonna won in the 00's. And Madonna is winning now.
Many legends wanted a Katy duet, but unlike some others, she's never felt the need to leech off of them.
True, Stevie Nicks stans for her and she's performed with the Rolling Stones too The difference is she does it just for a little fun as opposed to clinging onto them because her pop music career is over

Lol she's 60, let's be real, that's never happening again.
Now that I think about it, I don't think I listened to more than 13-14 albums this year I'll have a hard time making my best of 2015. E·MO·TION, Beauty Behind The Madness and How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful will probably be the top 3.

Boy please. JJ Fad was beautiful and that song was literally at the beginning of rap music in the 80s and was one of the first, if not the first, black female rap hits. It's catchy and has good flow. They were no less talented than the girls most of the people on here stan for.
Lol Ghosttown was a brilliant pop song and it didn't do well. The only way she'll see success again is if she becomes a self-tribute act like Barbara Streisand and puts out duets albums.
