On the one hand, if they had sent it this week, she would've been up against Adele, Bieber, 1D and Gwen, so she would have been overshadowed. On the other hand, she's no longer on the taking off chart, so she didn't gain a lot of new supporters this week which might have been avoided if the song went for adds. We'll see how it goes. I think the song sounds more like a rhythmic hit than a pop hit anyway.

Agreed. But it's been noted before that she's in this awkward space where she's kind of r&b, kind of alternative and kind of pop, so it was to be expected. I hope the second single is fire though
