What? MJ lipped almost every TV performance he ever did (including his most-known one where he debuted the moonwalk), Janet has lipped almost exclusively since she debuted, etc. If someone is lip synching and doing nothing, that's one thing. But if you're lipping and doing hardcore choreo, have crazy theatrics in your show, etc. that's another. Britney was mocked by some media outlets and some of the GP for lipping because of the sexism in the media lol. Tons of male popstars lipped (and still do) and they aren't mocked for it simply because they're men. Britney was always known as a great dancer and an excellent entertainer, though. You DID try
