Plenty of us have already got our opinions out that this is one of Adele's best songs. Varying reasons from person to person; but I love this song because it's so focused on her vocals more so. The sheer confidence and emotive depths to it are what won me over to stanning her. Possibly my favorite song of the past 2-3 years but I would to double-check/re-evaluate that claim before confirming it.

YAS GET SLAYED Hello is definitely in the Top 3 Adele songs for me Probably #2 after RITD although Hello has a much more epic sound than RITD

I don't know. There is minimalistic music and there is this blah. It adds nothing to the song. Thankfully Adele's chops are here to save (the galaxy lbr). I would use Lykke Li's No Rest For The Wicked as an example where the music supports but not overpowers the vocals (the contrasting piano chords are heaven).

I'm not hating btw, as I said I really like the song, just not this one aspect of it.
