I think that pretty much all across we've got some really great contestants and some really great entries. I feel like every score i've given so far was justified but at the same time I wonder if I should be a bit more divisive.

In general for judging I would recommend using the full scale rather than just assigning a score to everybody. There should be a rank, otherwise you end up with everybody above a 7... like lol. Especially in a game with so many players, too.

Lord knows I'm familiar with that.

I think using the full scale is fair, but only to a certain extent. When you get to fewer players, one judge's score can have a huge impact, especially since this game is based on points.

That's a good idea and I might try it for next round. Up to now i've just been giving scores of how I feel each song should be rated - a grade basically.

I'll do it to an extent I guess because I don't want to be too harsh if it doesn't call for it.

I don't see anything wrong with the scoring system. I don't feel comfortable giving an above average song a below average score just because it happens to be in the lower ranks of the round. That's not a true rating of the song. Why score a song lower than it should be just for the purpose of having lower scores overall? If you do a great job you deserve a great score.

I don't even know why scores are used at all, other than for this dumb average stuff, when it's your ranking that matters. Especially when the lowest and highest score don't even have a 2 point difference.

If a song deserves a high score I think it should get a high score but I see how it can inflate things too much. Idk I'll just try to be more conscious about my scoring but I feel like it might get too confusing if we do the scale thing.

Funny, I never heard you complaining about the way the scoring was done in GotSkill's or Truth Teller's seasons (which is the same as this season, by giving a numerical score and averaging them).

But let me not take you so seriously and ignore your request to change the scoring system.
