Rih/her team/etc. should really get more credit for being able to do yearly releases for so long and launch so many successful singles. Ariana has been trying so hard to emulate it but has been unsuccessful so far in getting any of her many singles to top the Hot 100.

Rihbola was never seen as a celebrity in the way Ariallah is so I guess that helped a lot. The original music not the bling.

But I mean for every dozen hits she also had a dozen flops. It was nothing amazing. It was more of throw 20 things to wall, half the things stick, half the things fall with her.
It's not like she had 20 hits in a row with 0 flops.

hello is an average attempt at making a big, powerful chorus. plus the lyrics suck (and are oddly vague which basically shows she's pulling this story out of her arse)
even if you hate the chorus, the rest of focus is great.
