My favorite part about PH is how much I grow as a writer, if anything this pulled back.

This is simply not true. The problems you experienced came from not understanding the meaning behind Lorde's album title. I'm pretty sure everyone on the panel has heard at least Royals too.
This challenge is
all about growing as a writer. How are you meant to grow unless you try new things? This is one challenge out of many, but even though the idea is to write to a certain style, the lyrics are still your lyrics. Your thoughts and your ideas, but suited to another artist's style as well.
If you feel this challenge "pulled you back" creatively, you weren't doing it right. Lorde has a very different and distinct style and that didn't come across in your song for me.

Ok @ Sam quoting the same one liner that I did and questioning the use of the word "fastness" like I did.
C U iN courT, Sam.

Not you guessing Katy for the "You did better than they could have" comment.

Bitch.
And maybe he should have listened to you.

It's an interlude that is basically a remix of Fantasy though.

You didn't have to pick it FAT.

Also messy @ Sam not knowing Frank that well. I spent so much time tying to make it align with the style of the album, which is very different from songs like Rehab. I hope at least one of the judges is familiar with the album.

I wasn't trying to compare it to Rehab at all because I knew it wouldn't be that type of song. I did listened to a song from Frank before reading your entry, it's the least I could do. From what I could tell you did capture that style well.
