If people remember the come on over era they'd say so.
Let's start with the fact that shania led into come on over with a 12x platinum album.
When she fully crossed over as a country pop artist with come on over (before there was carrie underwood and taylor there was shania and faith hill)...
she had songs like
you are still the one, from this moment on and man! I feel like a woman.
that don't impress me much was cute for the moment.
There's a reason why she's the only female with a studio album that has gone 20x platinum.
When people think about the songs bolded above, the massive sales they understand her peak.
Love Adele. Obviously
21 is legendary. that said, Rolling in the deep and someone like you are the gems from the era.
Set fiiiiiiiiire to your faves was big for the moment and Rumor has it was good for the moment.
So 21 has massive sales but two MONSTEr hits.
Shania's come on over had massive sales and 3 mega hits.
Arguments can go either way tbh
