I don't like the song, or the video. She's looks like a baby trying to be grown. Where are Britney, Christina, Brandy, & Monica's stylists from 1999? We need someone to mature this baby ASAP. Can we get Tina Knowles on the line or something. Such a talented girl. Terrible song, but of course you twinks will Stan for the crap. & im over that ponytail too. I'd love a power ballad from her though, & to hear her lower register.
I get that problem was a hit but when will they learn that trying to recreate a hit beat for beat never works...
Did they really have to have the guy screaming "fu fu focus on me!!!"?? It's almost like a joke... I get that they were trying to recreate the guy saying "one less problem without you" but this is 10x more annoying....
No no no no. An artist should be all about progression and this song sounds a hot mess. I thought it was a bop in the beginning but then the chorus came along.
The visuals were pretty good but doesn't help the song too much. Radios will play this simply because she is Ari G but I'm not a fan.
I may as well just listen to Problem another few hundred times, considering this is completely derivative, and not to mention MUCH worse. The breakdown is good, but the guy shouting is awful (as compared to Big Sean's awesome whispers), the lack of high notes is boring, and there's no fun rap.
Hopefully the rest of the album is much better, a la 1989 to Shake It Off.
