I don't get the purpose you serve to add xtina's features up against Britney's singles.

Despite releasing debut singles within 8 months of one another Britney has almost tripled album sales and outdone her in single sales, iconic videos, performances.

And yet she remains the 6th best selling female artist of all time.

Her iconic songs and performances are constantly referenced on a weekly and that's without payola to push it in advertisements to pass of a past hit song as "iconic" or even a past flop song as "iconic" coughs run the world coughs...


To think stans of xtina, beyonce etc. brag about radio recurrent airplay and such and yet none of that consistent play has allowed their faves to overtake.

They are not even in the top 10 of best selling female artists of all time.

The harsh reality to know that britney maintains even without media propaganda trying to pass songs and albums off as more than what they are.

Can't count on one hand how many references have been made to Britney's classics in this month alone...
