Host commentary - The album has grown on me because of the rate, but it is easily bottom 2 albums for me. If it was more Intervention, XStatic, Easy Ride, Nothing Fails, etc. and less cynical/weird/rapping stuff like AL, ISS, Mother and Father, Hollywood then I might like it. It also for me is the least she evolved between albums and is basically Music 2.0, albeit more cynical and moody. I appreciate it for not being completely stagnant, but I also think it was one of the worst mistakes of her career.
LoveLiveMusic’s guest album commentary - Another outstanding album with great lyrics, but then kind of falls flat in the memory of production. The demos and unreleased tracks really sound underwhelming. There’s kinda something off-putting of this album, it’s like she was trying too hard to get the sound of Ray of Light back.
So Ray of Light has 6 songs left. Bedtime Stories and Confessions have 3. Erotica, Music, Rebel Heart, and Like A Prayer have 2. Not all of these albums will make top 10. What are your predictions?
