Gimme Love and RAWM are the only good songs on that album. The chorus of Emotion is so bad.
I have no idea why 1 million people would want to buy Hello in its first week. It's just okay, if I never heard it again I wouldn't even care. For an Adele single, it's missing something.
I thought it was proven by multiple research teams from Oxford that De Mo Tion (I came up with this btw) was one of the worst attempts at a critic pandering indie pop album this decade.
That album was clearly inspired by Robyn, except it's nowhere as good as Body Talk.
Carly is carving out a little niche for herself as a critically revered but commercially unsuccessful pop girl in the same way Robyn did so it's understandable.
Kiss is still the superior album by far. Only two songs are unlistenable while the rest of the album is perfect. I wish Call Me Maybe wasn't so successful so the era didn't fall flat on its face after the summer.
