It wasn't a big thing again until the 1989 era ended and they no longer are hiding behind Taylor.
They don't have a katy era to target and everyone is either ending or beginning their era so they aim at Britney as if this person they claim has so many bad things about them is even in the same tier as far as sales, impact and influence. We all know britney is higher than gaga on that front and they like to find ways to discredit it...yawn.
She actually did a pretty good promotion of the album and still failed
