It's horrible that they wouldn't even let him audition. And there are still people who claim that's it because the white actor who got the role clearly had the best audition when minorities can't even get a foot through the door to be given fair chance.
It's disgusting. It's even worse when you're black because you're also denied roles for the shade of your skin tone and the texture of your hair. Hollywood is disgusting.
On top of that, white actors are portraying people of color in films like The Last Airbender and Exodus. Disgusting.

I'm not talking about in the industry. I mean in regard to auditions. I've seen black people refused auditions for being "too dark" or for not having straight hair. Either way, it's disgusting that all minorities are blatantly discriminated against.
Are they really denying an asian guy to play the role of an asian guy because of his race? What's their logic?
