This is how every single campaign from every popstar should go. ADELE and her team are very smart. She delivered the single almost immediately after a short teaser. Enough of these long drawn out hype single campaigns... like Gaga- Born This Way, Bieber- What Do You Mean... etc. In the age of the Beyonce, There needs to be as much spontaneity as possible to make a splash. If the song is good I genuinely believe the public will like it too. I see this song hitting #1 on the hot 100. I hope the Max Martin song is the next single, however I anticipate Adele will make When We Were Young the next single as she talked about in the radio.
Honestly, in a post BEYONCE world the paradigm has shifted. I'm not even saying this as a stan. We expect instant gratification and don't want to be teased with something for eons. A week's tease is perfect; it's enough to stir up crazy hype and then be able to deliver on it.

I know. That's what I meant - people expect things instantly now (not just because of Beyonce but the culture and digital age we live in). So making them wait a week is absolutely perfect because it builds hype but doesn't push them past their threshold of patience.

This. Ariana and all the other act - LEARN. It's stupid and no one needs it..
I still laugh when people claim that the BEYONCE album release changed nothing. IT CHANGED EVERYTHING. from that day on, artists and record labels began believing that they could release albums/singles spontaneously and randomly just because Beyonce succeeded massively with her album release. Do you think a record label before the beyonce album release would've allowed a massive star like Gaga, Taylor Swift, Katy or Rihanna to do a surprise album release?! Like what? Of course you need promo. But No. Bey surprised the **** out of us and from that day on labels became less strict about hyping up on album for months before releasing it.
There's really no need to be shady. It did change the way artists release their music.

Everyone is sharing this on Facebook.
I wouldn't necessarily say BEYONCE changed the way artists released their music - people were already getting sick and tired of artists hyping up music for months by 2012/213. Although, BEYONCE was certainly a massive influence on the paradigm shift on how music is released, I wouldn't attribute it as the main reason for the change as there were other factors happening around the same time. BEYONCE was released at the right time. (Not trying to diminish what Beyonce did with the album, it's impact is still felt today).

I'm loving this song so much. 10/10. Will buy it on iTunes as soon as I can. I really hope it goes number 1 worldwide

Wanna bet that Max Martin track is another ballad?
