I'm not exactly sure how the era will perform commercially speaking, but there's no way in hell she'll even do 1/4th as well as she did last time. What made 21 such a juggernaut was that it was so different from what was popular at the time with all of the EDM and dance-pop that was dominating the charts.
Now like half of the Top 40 is littered with mid-tempos and ballads. There's even an anti-party song ("Here") vaulting up the charts right now, which would've been lucky to even see the Bubbling Under this time in 2011. Her new stuff isn't going to stick out because now we have the likes of Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Drake, Meghan Trainor, John Legend, etc. delivering slow, sappy songs about futile relationships every other month.
Adele is a kind woman, have no ill will towards her, so I'll always be nice to her and her fans. I'm just sad that her music quality has gone down so far since 19 but maybe the rest of this album will make up for that.

Possibly, but you're counting out the fact that because 21 reached SO many people, it's likely that a lot will stick with her just because of how much they loved it the first time.
