It is. Two republicans admitted that, one had to resign.

However it's not only a witch hunt, some of it had to do with finding out the truth. But mostly it was political.

Honestly, I don't think this particular committee ever had a single good intention. They have focused for ten and a half hours on attacking her character, finding her at fault for things, and trying to find a single slip-up on her part.
