U can say when Gaga is feeling comfortable in a scene with someone and her acting is good for example all her scenes with Finn are on professional level they have chemestry on the other hand her scenes with Cheyane feel a little robotic at parts. So far the only 2 times she felt not too compeling in delivering her lines were in the first episode amd in this and both times were her scenes with Cheyene, so maybe Gaga's not the only one to blame here
Still apart from few little slips so far she's been nothing but great, giving the big weight on her shoulders this role being her debut and also playing a lead character .... so I'm happy she is def top 5 on my list this season.

It's going to be weird to see them in a scene together. I really am not loving Chloe's acting this season, she literally has no chemistry with anybody, and everyone is saying Gaga's scenes with Cheyenne feel that way (although I don't see it, it's just honestly that Cheyenne's character is boring), so this might get messy

The Countess literally seems like her life has no joy, she is isolated and blinded by fortune. There was a moment between her and Tristan where he chuckles after she says she's going to take Will's money, and you see Gaga laughing from the back, I wish we saw her face, because I want to see her character smile, and show some joy, but I guess that is the point, that this long life although sounds intriguing and beautiful, it's actually quite miserable. Elizabeth is so cold, and I hope we get to see a period where she was truly happy, otherwise her character will die living a miserable life, which is probably what she deserves, reminds me a lot of Sister Jude in Asylum, hope Gaga gets ha redemption.

It also seems like The Countess has no talent, and feeds off of others, which empowers her to feel meaningful, glamours and powerful maybe I'm wrong. And somehow although these people are actually talented, she makes them her bitch.
But Angela was an actor, she was at studio 54, Tristan is a model, Mr. March a builder. She also is going to try to take Will's fortune, because she herself cannot be rich by her own means. She also cannot have her own children, or so it seems, so she takes other peoples children. She is a lover of art, but not an artists herself if that makes sense. She wants to live a glamours fame filled life, and be the queen, but the queen of what, I think she might come to that realization, and the show could go very deep if it wanted too. It's that storyline of chasing a dream that isn't going to happen, blind ambition.
Also do they edit like a light around Gaga all the time, because she literally glows on screen, or is it just the blonde hair? I think Jessica had a similar affect on the show.

Amazing episode, loved everything. 1 = 3 > 2
But I don't understand why Iris wanted to die in the hotel. Wouldn't she end up being a ghost which wouldn't be any different to being alive?

That's why Sally asked Iris about the unfinished business. If you don't have one, you won't be trapped as a ghost in the hotel

Omg her addiction is the blind ambition, everything makes sense now .... her virus is her 'addiction demon' - at first may look like a blessing: eternal life without aging or getting ill but her trying to make it through and have it all is what have trapped her in the never ending circle where she finds new lovers, new money, more kids, new ways to satisfy her hunger, her craving for JOY which in the end will never be enough for her
This could be really interesting if done right like in the end of the season I see the Countess killing herself after she finally sees that she will never be fully happy and there will always be something missing in her cursed life of emptiness .... I see her going into full meltdown mode and after realising her true curse and getting redemtption for her dues, she would end it all and with her death will come the end of the Hotel Cortez without a true owner (giving the fact that by the end of the season Drake will be dead) the building will become property of the government and gets destroyed Ryan pls make this season the best I really have hopes

This wasn't as good as episode 2 and left a lot of cliffhangers so I guess next episode will be better.

Gaga and Angela had no chemistry whatsoever in their bed scene and it was made even clearer cause they showed Angela getting it on with that super hot guy like a minute later and it was so much better.

I think the Countess is meant to be lifeless, with little to no human expressions, in the only scenes I saw a few glimpses of life was when she turned Tristan into a vampire which I guess made her really excited. The problem with Gaga's acting is that she has to pull of this kind of Nosferatu character, and somestimes It feels like she could give more but I guess the character It's meant to be that way. She's new to all this so I hope she keeps improving!

Well yeah, Angela herself said in an interview that it was the first she was having sex with a women on screen, she felt really awkward and jumped out of bed the moment they shot, lol

And i think we finally have our main protagonist who's gonna end Gaga's life on the show. Go, Ramona
|
Ramona isn't the protagonist sis She is evil, she is a supporting character/tritagonist of some sort.
And i doubt she'll kill Gaga, she'll probably hurt her tho, maybe killin one or 2 kids idk/
I loved the episode.
this scene:
was so nice Gaga is fantastic, she literally looks like herself, yet I forget it's her.
Kathy, Sarah and Matt slayed this episode so much
Angela was great !
Chayenne was so hot this episode
Chloe is fine, but I still don't like her that much, she really isn't suitable for this type of role tbh.
And not her loving Holden more than Scarlett what kind of mother
And her meeting Holden, wtf

I would love for all of this. Except I'm not sure I want The Countess to off herself, I think I'd rather her somehow cleanse herself of the virus, grow old and die, even if she is miserable and alone, it'll be her first real experience of living a real moment in time, without chasing something, but rather death chasing her, it actually sounds quite similar to Coven and Fiona Good though.
Regardless I hope their is some kind of redemption, but killing herself would be so underwhelming, like they cut to her hanging herself, or in a bathtub, we've just seen it one to many times, and it'd be a predictable ending for her. And I'm sure it would come across as rushed, and them finding reasoning for her character to find salvation, by committing suicide.
