No one thinks or thought of Katy as a byproduct of Gaga like they did with Kesha and Nicki (except Gags' stans/stan-writers)
That's why post-Adele, Katy got her biggest music video to date this way:
While Kesha and Gaga were over and Nicki had to completely give up her costumes to do the mediocre numbers she's doing now.
