It's hundreds of people that vote to give a grammy, so it's a certified objective judgement, whereas a review is totally subjective.

You really can't take any committee that's willing to give Mumford & Sons, the faux indie Nickelback with beards, an Album of the Year award seriously.
grammys are more indicative of whether the industry wants to tote you as their example of quality (it's about balancing success with what seems credible)
