I worry that because "ANTI" took such a long time to make, that she might already be over the album. I know RihannaDaily pretty much confirmed an album was scrapped in March, however I don't think she would've scrapped all the songs... She's probably lived with at least half of the songs on the album for maybe up to two years.
I just hope that she doesn't give up on the album early, and then rush releases a generic pop album for R9. Whilst I would really enjoy some more 'Pop/dance' music from her, I think she would be a huge hypocrite if she were to make a generic pop album after 'ANTi'. The reason being is that she's expressed two times how she doesn't enjoy performing her old songs, and how they ain't her. I just hope she actually puts effort in with this era, because this is the album that Rihanna (Kanye
) wanted to make.
If the album is trash then we should all drop our stan cards.
I'm still hopeful though .. Higher and James Joint are both really great.
